Rainfall warning to come into effect for Galway at lunchtime

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Thunderstorms could bring localised flooding to parts of the south and west later.

Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for Galway, Mayo and Kerry.

The alert’s in place from 1pm until 10 tomorrow morning.

The forecaster says there’ll be spells of heavy rain, particularly in coastal and mountainous areas.
