Quarter of a million euro allocated to Galway community facilities

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Over a quarter of a million euro in funding has been allocated to Galway city and county for its community centres and facilities.

It comes under the government's Community Enhancement Programme - which aims to stimulate local economies by improving and maintaining community centres and other facilities.

Just under 110-thousand euro has been allocated to the city while 160-thousand euro will be shared across the county.
