A six week consultation on the new plan gets underway this week and will run until March 2nd.
The document places a fresh focus on attempting to keep new development close to the town centre.
A public consultation meeting will take place at Tuam library on February 8th from 2.30 to 7.30 for those who want to speak to county planners.
