PPI involves an active partnership between the public, patients, researchers and doctors.
It helps to make decisions about what research should be done, so that it's sensitive to the needs of patients and also how to share the results of research with the public in an understandable way.
The conference will take place at the ILAS building at NUI Galway from 10a.m to 3.30p.m this day fortnight, April 27th.
