Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport will hold a public hearing next week (14/2) to discuss the issues surrounding traffic congestion in Galway city.
Senators Pádraig Ó Céidigh and John O' Mahony are seeking solutions to the network issues in Galway and its surrounds.
The aim of the hearing between senators and TDs on February 14th, is to understand the current problems, discuss the accountability of stakeholders and ensure milestones are adhered to.
Senator Ó Céidigh says the traffic congestion in Galway needs to be resolved as its costing all sectors of the economy and community.
