Public meeting in call for investment in infrastructure for Connemara

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A public meeting will take place next month in Maam Cross as part of a long running campaign for better infrastructure in the Connemara area.

Agenda items include funding for the upkeep of roads, bridges and footpaths, hedge trimming and public lighting.

The campaign group is also questioning the level of funding for the North and South Connemara Municipal Districts.

The meeting will take place at Peacocks Hotel in Maam Cross on September 26th at 8pm.
