Public consultation opens on planned redevelopment of Millar's Lane in Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A public consultation is now open on the planned redevelopment of Millar's Lane in Galway.

The project aims to upgrade the existing pathway which runs for almost 1 kilometre between Rahoon Road and Kingston Road.

It'll provide off-road walking and cycling routes that'll support increased access to local estates and amenities, as well as children travelling to school.

It follows works late last year to improve the laneway, including the clearing of overgrowth, planting of trees and improved path surface.
