SIPTU health workers are protesting over the HSE’s 'Pay and Numbers Strategy' outside Tuam Primary Care Centre today.
It's one of three protests taking place this afternoon, with the other locations in Cavan and Sligo
The Tuam protest kicks off at 1pm, and the aim is to highlight member concerns that the policy will have a detrimental impact on services.
SIPTU Sector Organiser, Damian Ginley, says members are concerned that despite record levels of investment in the health service, many key, front-line roles are still left vacant.
