Protest at Galway Courthouse at mark International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women

Galway Bay FM newsroom- A protest will take place at Galway Courthouse this evening to mark International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

The demonstration is organised by the Galway branch of socialist feminist movement ROSA.

They're calling for increased action from Government to address a range of issues affecting women including domestic abuse, sexual violence, and discrimination in the workplace.

The event will take place at Courthouse Square this evening at 7pm.
