Protected monument in Gort to get a facelift

Galway Bay fm newsroom- A protected monument in Gort is set to be renovated.

The county council has granted planning permission for Burren Lowlands CLG for removation works at the Christ the King monument at Market Square

The works include the renovation of the raised limestone plinth around the monument pedestal.
