Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway County Council is pushing ahead with plans for an extension of Clarinbridge graveyard.
The part 8 planning documents for the scheme have been approved this week.
The existing burial ground in Clarinbridge is nearing capacity.
Athenry/Oranmore area councillor Jim Cuddy says progress can now be made on expanding the graveyard to meet the future needs of the community.
