Preliminary works due to begin on Tuesday on trial section of Shop Street in city

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Preliminary works are due to begin on the multi-million euro revamp of the city’s pedestrianised zone at Shop St next week.

Works on a trial section between Eason and the entrance to Church Yard Lane are due to commence on Tuesday as part of an overall plan to rehabilitate the pedestrianised street.
