Power restored to 2 thousand city homes

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Power has now been restored to almost 2 thousand homes in the city following a major fault in the Ballybane area.

The outage was first reported shortly after 8.30am, with 1,871 customers affected.

The ESB says power has now been fully restored to all areas.
