Power restored to almost 3000 county homes following major fault

Galway Bay fm newsroom  - Power has been restored to almost 3000 homes after a major fault this morning

The fault affected the Athenry, Knockdoe, Castle Ellen, Castlelambert, Turloughmore, Ballyglunin, Claregalway, Lackagh areas, and parts of Tuam.

Crews are still working to restore power to almost 30 homes in the Claregalway area.
