Galway Bay fm newsroom - Power has been restored to almost 2 thousand homes in Athenry.
The ESB had originally estimated that power would not be restored to 1, 790 customers until around lunchtime.
The fault was reported shortly before 10 this morning, but service was fully restored shortly after 11.
