Portiuncula Hospital extends visiting hours

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Portiuncula hospital in Ballinasloe is extending its visiting hours.

Visitors are now able to access the hospital between 2 and 4pm and 6 and 8pm.

However, visits are limited to one person, per patient per day.

The hospital is asking people to keep visits as short as possible, due to COVID numbers remaining high.

Access to outbreak wards remains limited.
