Galway Bay fm newsroom- Scientists at NUI Galway are warning that microscopic pieces ingested by zooplankton may alter the oceans' ability to trap carbon dioxide.

Greenhouse gas carbon dioxide is released during the burning of fossil fuels and it is naturally absorbed by oceans.
