Galway Bay fm newsroom - There are plans for a major mixed-use development on the east side of the city.

Evolution Asset Holdings Limited has applied for planning permission for the development ranging in height from 3-storey to 7 storey in Doughiska.

The major development will include 130 apartments with a lounge, foyer and meeting rooms with tennis courts at roof level at the Doughiska Road.

There would also be an office block with a café/restaurant and a 122 bedroom hotel with 12 hotel apartment suites with a swimming pool and gym.
