Plans mooted for more than 100 new homes on east side of city

Galway Bay fm newsroom - More than 100 new homes are planned for the east side of the city.

Trean Meadow Limited is in preliminary consultation with An Bord Pleanála about a proposal to provide 75 apartments and 27 houses at Ballybane More Road in Ballybrit.

The application is being made directly to the higher planning authority under Strategic Housing Development legislation.

An Bord Pleanála will issue it's 'opinion' next month on whether the company should submit a full application for the development seeking planning permission.
