Plans lodged for restoration works at quarry in Ballymoe

Galway Bay FM Newsroom - Plans have been lodged for restoration works at a quarry in Ballymoe.

The works at Knockogonnell will consist of the extraction of stone along the east face to stablise the rock face and improve safety.

They'll also include the construction of an access road and site fencing.

Planners are due to make a decision in August.
