Plans lodged for office block at Cluain Mhuire

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Plans have been lodged for a new office block at Cluain Mhuire, Wellpark Road.

The application is led by Comhoibriú CLG, trading as CREW.

It would provide a standalone two-storey office building to provide flexible multi-unit co-working space for startup and fledgling companies.

It also sets out to deliver enhancement of existing pedestrian routes, cycle and car parking.

There would also be hard and soft landscaping, connections to existing services and utilities and related ancillary site works on the existing site at Cluain Mhuire which is a protected structure.

City planners are due to make a decision in July.
