Plans for two new apartment blocks in Newcastle

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Permission is being sought for two new apartment blocks in Newcastle.

The project is led by Shawder Ltd and would involve the demolition of an existing home and sheds at 99 Upper Newcastle Road.

In their place would be two apartment blocks – consisting of ten single-bedroom units and eight two-bedroom units.

City planners are due to make a decision in August.
