Plans for new cultural centre and theatre space in city centre

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Plans have been lodged for a new cultural centre and theatre space in the city centre.

The development would see the conversion of an existing retail unit at Flood Street House.

It'd include theatre and performance space, as well as a cafe and bar, on the ground floor - with recording studios on the first floor.

Planners are due to make a decision in November.
