Plans for new 33m telecommunications mast in Cregmore

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Plans have been lodged for a new telecommunications mast in Cregmore.

The project is led by On Tower Ltd and would be based at lands near a bend in the L3102, between Cregmore National School and Cregmore Bridge.

The mast would be 33m in height and surrounded by 2.4m fencing, as well as an access track.

County planners are due to make a decision in July. (5/7)
