Galway Bay fm newsroom - Plans have been lodged for an apartment block at West City Centre Office & Retail Park in Westside.
The project would involve the demolition of the existing first floor office level, to make way for 60 new apartments.
The development would be primarily made up of two-bed and single-bed units spread across first, second and third floor level.
At present, Aldi is the anchor tenant of the retail park at ground floor level.

City planners are due to make a decision in January.
