The Bothar An Choiste estate would consist of 84 two-storey houses and 86 apartments across two blocks - as well as a creche.
It would be located on a 4.6 hectare site to the north of Bóthar an Chóiste.

It's been submitted to the planning body as a Strategic Housing Development, which means permission is not required from the local authority.
An Bord Pleanala is due to make a decision in November. (28/11)
