Planners to consider retention of city home for use as place of Muslim worship

Galway Bay fm newsroom - City planners are to consider an application for the retention of the ancillary use of a house in Mincloon as a place of worship for the Muslim community.

Permission is also sought for the construction of a front weather porch and the delineation of car parking spaces in the grounds of the property.

The application is led by Western Islamic Cultural Centre .

A decision is due late next month.
