Galway Bay fm newsroom - Plans have been lodged for a cultural pursuit centre to be located at Killeany, Inis Mór.
The plan led by Michael Mullen would also include eight holiday homes on the largest Aran island, together with associated access road and parking.
A Natura Impact Statement has been prepared as part of the proposed development.
County planners are due to make a decision next month.
