Galway Bay fm newsroom - Plans have been approved for a new NCT centre in Tuam.
The project led by Gary McTigue involves a change of use of an existing vacant building at Carrowpeter to vehicle testing centre and ancillary offices.
County planners have attached 12 conditions to their grant of permission.
One states the offices are to be used for ancillary purposes and incidental to the main NCT facility on site.

Construction work is to be carried out between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday and between 9am and 5pm on Saturdays.
