Plan approved for 13 housing units in Athenry

Plans have been approved to build 13 houses in Raheen, Athenry.

The project is led by Gerry Dempsey and had originally involved 17 units.

County planners have approved the development subject to 18 conditions.

One states four back-to-back houses are to be omitted from the original development to make way for a public open space area.
