Permission sought to keep additional rooms at Prospect Hill hotel

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Permission is being sought to retain the change of use and amalgamation of apartments to a hotel at Prospect Hill in the city.

Eugene Keville has applied for retention planning permission for the works at the Western Hotel.

It includes the change of use of basement and ground floor commercial accommodation to hotel use and the provision of a roof deck.

A decision is expected from the city council in September.
