Permission granted for monument at ATU Galway dedicated to deceased students

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Permission has been granted for a memorial monument at ATU Galway’s Dublin Road Campus to commemorate deceased students.

The sculptural stone monument, incorporating a memorial wall, will replace an existing memorial on site.

It’ll be located near the Ballybane Road entrance and will feature landscaping and seating.

City planners have approved the project, with 5 conditions attached.
