Galway Bay fm newsroom - A large group of parents and their children have gathered at Menlo National School this morning in protest at class sizes.
Concerns have been raised over the class grouping of fifth and sixth class pupils for the upcoming academic year.
It's understood this would involve a 41 student class - which parents argue is unacceptable.
A group of parents representing over 30 of the pupils met last evening to discuss their concerns.

The patron of the school also met a representative group of parents regarding their concerns last evening.
