Over half of Galway workers never work from home

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Over half of people in Galway never work from home, according to CSO figures.

The data accounts for 85,000 people working in the city, and a further 38,000 in the county.

It found that around a third of people across Galway are remote workers, which is in line with national statistics.

Of the 2.2m working people accounted for in the data, 1.3 million say they are always in the office, while around 700,000 consistently work from home.
