Over 500 waiting on home support packages across the West

Over 500 people are waiting for home support packages across the West.

New figures from the HSE show 174 are waiting for such supports in Galway, followed by 255 in Mayo and 72 in Roscommon.

More than 7,800 people are on the waiting list for home-support packages nationwide with the greatest demand in the Dublin north region.
