A homeless charity has revealed that it helped source move-on accommodation for more than 50 people who were living in direct provision centres in Galway.
De Paul provided in-reach support as part of a new initiative which was set up by the Department of Justice at the beginning of the year.

54 people, including 37 adults and 17 children who were living in the Eglington and Great Western direct provision centres, who have been granted legal status to remain in Ireland, were helped integrate into local communities.
