Over 2,400 premises in Ballinasloe can now avail of high-speed fibre connection

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Over 2,400 premises in Ballinasloe and surrounding areas can now avail of high-speed fibre connection.

Homes, businesses and farms in Ahascragh, Kilconnell, Kellysgrove and Kiltormer can connect to fibre broadband.

The improved connectivity is part of the National Broadband Plan, being undertaken on behalf of the Government.

There are more than 8,600 premises in Galway that have yet to join, with people encouraged to check the map on nbi.ie to see if they can connect.
