From Galway Bay FM newsroom- Over 18,000 adults in County Galway are suffering from Long Covid.
Meanwhile, its estimated the number nationally stands at over 336,000.
Long Covid can occur when individuals experience Covid-19 symptoms, weeks and months after the initial Covid-19 infection.
Local TD Sean Canney says patients are still waiting for a treatment pathway to be put in place by the HSE:
