Galway Bay fm newsroom - One person has been taken to hospital as a precaution following a crash on the Headford Road.
The two car crash happened near McGaugh's garden centre on the Curraghline shortly after 4pm.
Gardaí and the emergency service attended the scene.
The incident resulted in long tailbacks on the Headford Road, but traffic is now returning to normal.
