There's one Galway name on the newly published list of 18 deceased Jesuits who are the subject of child abuse allegations
Fr Michael McGrath who died in 1989 at the age of 79 had two complaints of sexual abuse made against him relating to his ministry in Galway
The first referred to abuse occurring in the context of Our Lady's Boys' Club while the second complaint referred to abuse at Coláiste Iognáid
The working group says it's not aware of any child sexual abuse complaints having being made against Fr McGrath during his lifetime
In a statement, the Order says its primary and core aim is to reach people who were harmed as children by Jesuits, and offer support.
