Galway Bay fm newsroom - A number of residents in Tuam have objected to a proposed housing development in the town.
They are raising concerns about privacy and a potential traffic risk with the plans.
The project, led by M. Cummins, would involve the demolition of an existing derelict building at Townparks.
In its place would be a mix of 11 terraced houses and apartments.
However, two nearby residents have submitted objections to the proposal, both citing privacy concerns.
They are also raising concerns with the size of the proposed development, and are claiming it would be a traffic hazard if situated on what is considered a "dangerous bend".
County planners are due to make a decision in November.
