Galway Bay fm newsroom - Trinity College Dublin is the only Irish university to be included in the world's top 100.
The 2023 QS world rankings of 1400 universities puts Trinity in 98th place.
Other Irish universities went down in the rankings, with UCD in 181st place and NUI Galway at 270th position.
While University College Cork lost its place within the top 300, ranking 303rd in the world.
