Galway Bay fm newsroom - NUIG has teamed up with Mental Health Ireland to launch a first-of-its-kind postgraduate certificate in mental health promotion this September.
The course is designed for applicants from different sectors, such as mental health, primary care, education, nursing, social work and community work.
An open evening for the course will take place next Wednesday, June 12th, from 6 to 7pm at Áras Moyola, room 120.
The part-time course aims to provide participants with professional education and training in the principles and practice of promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
The programme runs from September to the following May.
