Galway Bay fm newsroom - A new survey has been launched at NUI Galway to document the experiences of LGBT migrants in Ireland.
It's after a major national consultation in 2016 identified lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender migrants as needing improved understanding and support.
The information obtained from the survey will be used to formulate a more effective response to their needs at community and national level.
The study is being undertaken by Dr. Chris Noone of the School of Psychology at NUI Galway, with funding from the Community Foundation for Ireland.
