No applications for Carraroe GP position despite four HSE campaigns

Galway Bay fm newsroom The HSE received no applications for the vacant GP position in Carraroe, despite four advertising campaigns.

The position has been filled by GPs employed through a locum agency since it became vacant in 2021.

The HSE Health Forum West has heard that a fifth recruitment campaign is currently underway.

The information was revealed following a query from local councillor Daithí O’ Cualáin.
