No applications for Carraroe GP position despite four HSE campaigns

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The HSE received no applications for the vacant GP position in Carraroe, despite four advertising campaigns.

The position has been filled by GPs employed through a locum agency since it became vacant in 2021.

The HSE Health Forum West has heard that a fifth recruitment campaign is currently underway.

The information was revealed following a query from local councillor Daithí O’ Cualáin.
