From the Galway Bay FM Newsroom: Night time water restrictions have been lifted in Glenamaddy.
The restrictions, which were in place since Saturday, have been lifted with immediate effect.
Irish Water says they were necessary due to high levels of domestic, commercial and agricultural demand for treated drinking water experienced in Glenamaddy and surrounding areas, coupled with low reservoir levels.
Water reserves have now recovered.
