Galway Bay fm newsroom - A planned mixed-use development has been approved for Barna.
The county council has granted planning permission for the demolition of a house to make way for a new retail and office building at Freeport.
The development is subject to 17 planning conditions including a stipulation that the proposed car park and hard paving areas within the site consistent with the existing ground levels on site.
