Galway Bay fm newsroom - Archbishop of Tuam Francis Duffy says his priority in his new role is to get to know as many priests and parishes as possible in the next few weeks.

He was speaking following his installation as Archbishop of Tuam at a ceremony held in the Cathedral of the Assumption yesterday.
Due to the pandemic, numbers were limited to 100 people inside the Cathedral with just family, friends and invited guests in attendance.

Archbishop Duffy told Bernadette Prendergast he wants to meet as many people as possible in his first few weeks in his new role, and also plans to visit all four islands in the diocese.
