An Garda Siochana's Road Safety Partners GoSafe monitored over 100,000 vehicles across the road network.
484 drivers were detected for speeding and will be issued with Fixed Charge Notices.
Gardaí released some of the highest speeds, with one motorist found doing 87km/h in a 50km/h on the N6 in Ballinfoile (pron Bal-in-foil) yesterday
While the worst speeding was found in Cork, with a driver doing 188km/h in a 120 zone.
It comes as there have been 96 deaths on Irish roads this year so far, an increase on 2021 statistics at this time.
