Galway Bay fm newsroom - The county council has granted more time for a new housing development in Ballinasloe to be built.
Robert Finn has secured an extension of planning permission for 26 homes at Portnick, Creagh.
The extension will allow until the end of December 2021 for the development to be completed.
County planners have stipulated that before the development restarts, the developer must lodge a bond worth 160 thousand euro with the council to secure the completion of various services.
